Inspired by polka dot aprons sewn by AKRIS Creative Director Albert Kriemler's grandmother who founded the luxury Swiss-based fashion company in 1922, the PUNTO Collection includes references to puntos in contemporary art such as Sigmar Polke's famous dot matrices. Under the mentorship of Kriemler, Claudia Caviezel's designs for the company follow Kriemler's ethos of creative couture interpreted through the craft of the handmade and inspired by fine art.
