Claudia Caviezel's award-winning portfolio for the 2007 annual Swiss Federal Design Grant comprised photography, embroidery, and digitally printed fabric at various design stages as the foundation for a fashion or interiors textile collection. Fabrics ranged from chiffon to cotton to metal fabric, which she printed, embroidered, glued, and pleated. Each piece surprises and each reveals her characteristic experimentation. The collection was printed and produced by Swiss-based luxury textile company Jakob Schlaepfer.
