The graphic grid design of the pages in a primary school notebook from Claudia Caviezel's childhood inspired her collection of scatter cushions and bed linen. Caviezel overlays a geometric grid background – in some cases folded to skew the grid into Op Art geometric shapes or folded to mirror the pattern in four directions - with a gradient of bright ombré colours intersected by geometric blocks of contrasting colours. The patterns are digitally printed on cotton canvas and backed in cotton velour for the cushions and digitally printed on cotton sateen for the bed linen.
